NAPAL
The Annapurna Circuit is one of Nepal’s most remarkable trekking routes, stretching for approximately 200 kilometres through the heart of the Himalayas. The trail passes through a constantly changing landscape—from green valleys, forests, and traditional villages to dry high-altitude terrain, glaciers, and snow-covered peaks. At the highest point of the journey, trekkers cross Thorong La Pass at an elevation of 5,416 m. Along the way, the route connects travelers with local communities, ancient traditions, and the everyday life of the mountain villages. The Annapurna Circuit is therefore more than a physical journey; it is an experience shaped by nature, culture, endurance, and human connection.

“ARCHITECTURE IN THE MOUNTAINS SHOULD NOT COMPETE WITH THE LANDSCAPE; IT SHOULD CREATE A PAUSE FROM WHICH THE LANDSCAPE CAN BE FELT.”
